Yes, this month's block with Leah Day was more of a challenge than I expected. She makes it look so easy. There is not much difference between my two blocks. However, I did have more control over the speed and moving the fabric. Straight lines still are difficult for me. Practice, practice, practice. I will remember to use a contrasting thread so I can see what I am doing. Certainly not perfect, however, I shall continue to improve.

DeleteI'm slow getting around to everyone's link. It looks like you have done a good job. When I first started FMQ I found the straight lines easiest. Now that I have worked hard to be comfortable with the rounded shapes I find the straight lines harder. Go figure. : )
